Mile 148.2 – 159.7 (+2 miles to PVC)
I took a popular detour to Paradise Valley Cafe… where I ended up staying for 5 hours, eating and hanging out with my new Alaskan buddies.
Gorging myself and then hiking – bad decision. Waiting until 3 PM to do 10 more miles – bad decision. Well, at least I got my first night hike in on this trip!
Reports indicate that the upcoming 20 miles still have frequent snow/heavy snow.
