Day 32 | Mile 457.1 – 478.2

Leaving the town of Agua Dulce and heading towards Green Valley, the trail was mostly exposed as it crossed dirt roads and passed through pipe gates. The hills were covered in tall grasses and at times took cover in small groves. I ran away from one water source due to the massive amount of bugs that had landed on me before I even got my backpack fully off!

It was overall a relatively unremarkable day, other than the refreshing trail magic I received in the form of an apple and cold pre-filtered water, and, of course, the 4000′ of elevation gain.
