Mile 22.3 – 34.2
The day dawned dreary, and stayed rainy and windy well into the morning.
I again did not get much sleep the night before, so I kept warm and dry in my tent until the rain stopped.
It was a beautiful, misty hike once the rain moved on! There was an abundance of wildlife out and about. I saw rabbits, birds, turkey vultures, lizards, and more.
After a short day, I decided to tuck my tent away somewhere off the trail, to camp alone and try to get some much-needed sleep. Goodnight!
