Another big climb first thing in the morning, so I had another early start! It was a short day, but Tom and I wanted to enjoy camping together while we can, since he won’t be able to meet me very much over the next section, due to lack of access.
Just before Chimney Creek Campground, I enjoyed a cool soda thanks to the trail magic provided by Kim’s dad! He was also serving up pancakes, but alas they were not gluten-free, which just means more for other hikers.
Ollie & Bianca joined us at our campsite and we enjoyed another beautiful evening together in the woods.
