The day was rocky, with over 2,500 feet of elevation gain, and over 2,000 feet of elevation loss.
Kentucky Camp Ghost Town
After a long day, we reached a small building with running water. It was Kentucky Camp, a ghost town. The camp host let us stay the night inside, which was wonderfully free of cow pies. I was concerned about mice, so I convinced Tom to let me pitch our tent inside. We also made sure our belongings were out of reach of any critters.
