Ho’okena Beach Park
Snorkeling gear in hand, we went back to Ho’okena Beach Park. We saw yellow tangs, parrotfish, triggerfish, a sea cucumber, needlefish, and so many more.
The absolute highlight was when we spotted a small octopus and witnessed it change color to blend perfectly into the rocks! Unfortunately, I bashed my toe into the rocks and it started to change colors rather quickly too.
For dinner, we wanted to experience a traditional Hawaiian Luau and made reservations at Voyagers of the Pacific. The Polynesian songs and dances were incredible, and the evening ended with the Samoan fire knife ritual.
